Observation
Category : Air sampling observation
Situation : ongoing
Time zone : UTC

Sampling
Sampling height : 3
Description : continuous
Sampling and analysis frequency : Continuous
Sampling environment :
Description for sampling analysis : Material of intake: Plastic
Intake height: 3.5 meter above ground
Tubing: about 6 m length with 1/4 inch diameter made by Teflon
Air is sampled 0.5 liter per minute
Data is sampled every second, and a 10 minute average is stored.

Instrument and Analysis
Measurement method : Light absorption analysis (UV)
Current status and history of instrument : UV Absorption
Description of instrument : TH49i : http://www.thermoscientific.com/en/product/model-49-i-i-i-ozone-analyzer.html

Calibration
Current scale employed in the measurement : National Standard instrument
Measurement calibration : Zero and five points span check (40, 80, 120, 160, 200 ppb) tree times per year (Jan, May, Sept) with a transfer standard Dasibi 1008PC. The transfer standard is calibrated against the reference standard UV Photometer SRP#11 (National Institute of Standards, USA) at the Air Pollution Laboratory, Institute of Applied Environmental Reasearch, Stockholm University, Sweden every year.
Scale and calibration(treasability) : National Standard instrument

Data Processing
Measurement unit : ppb
Data processing : Ozone measurements are daily checked by an operator. All irregular observations and information are recorded in a log book. Final data checking and validation is performed after each calibration. Hourly averages is calculated from 10 minute data.
Daily and Monthly averages are calculated only from validated hourly data
Processing for averaging :

Data flag : Flags from EEA Air Quality:

-1 Not valid
-99 Not valid due to station maintenance or calibration
1 Valid
2 Valid, but below detection limit measurement value given
3 Valid, but below detection limit and number replaced by 0.5*detection limit
