Observation
Category : Air sampling observation
Situation : ongoing
Time zone : UTC

Sampling
Sampling height : 1
Description : continuous
Sampling and analysis frequency : Continuous
Sampling environment :
Description for sampling analysis : Material of intake: Stainless steel
Intake height: 3,5 meter above ground
Tubing: about 0,5 m length with 1/4 inch diameter made by Teflon
Air is sampled 1 liter per minute.
Data is sampled every 10 second, and a 5-minute average is stored.
1992 - 2004 October, Model 49, UV absorption, TEI corporation
2004 October - present, Model 49C, UV absorption, TEI corporation

Instrument and Analysis
Measurement method : Light absorption analysis (UV)
Current status and history of instrument : Ozone analyzer
Description of instrument : Thermo electron
M49

Calibration
Current scale employed in the measurement : Observer's standard
Measurement calibration : Zero monthly. Five points calibration in Calibration Laboratory of Imission in Prague twice per year with a standard TEI Model 49C/PS (described below), which is calibrated with reference standard (SRP) NIST, verified every third year by BIPM.
1992 - 1994: TEI Model 49PS
1995-1998 SRP NIST-TEI 49PS
1999-present: SRP NIST-TEI Model 49C
Scale and calibration(treasability) : 1992 - present: the WMO scale.

Data Processing
Measurement unit : ug/m3-20C
Data processing : Ozone measurements are checked at the site by an operator daily. All irregular observations and information are recorded in a log book. Measurement data are transmitted continuously to the headquarters and checked and flagged there using the log book every month. Final data checking and validation is performed by the contributor at the headquarters. Hourly average is calculated from valid minutely averaged data. Daily and Monthly averages are calculated only from validated hourly data.
Processing for averaging : Processing for Hourly Data:
Hourly data take arithmetic means of half an hour average concentrations (for example "12" means the average value from the measured concentrations from 11.30 to 12.30)
Processing for Daily Data:
Daily data take arithmetic means are calculated from valid hourly data if 16 hourly data put of 24 hours during the day are valid
Processing for Monthly Data:
Monthly data take arithmetic means are calculated from valid daily data if 20 daily data put of 30 days during the month are valid
Data flag : Data Validated
Data missing
Value below detection limit
