Observation
Category : Air sampling observation
Situation : ongoing
Time zone : Local time +12

Sampling
Sampling height : 10
Description : continuous
Sampling and analysis frequency : Hourly
Sampling environment :
Description for sampling analysis : Continuous sampling. Air for these measurements is drawn from 5 metres above the ground through a dedicated teflon tube with a 0.5 um teflon filter on the inlet to exclude aerosols.

Instrument and Analysis
Measurement method : UV Photometric
Current status and history of instrument : UV Photometric ozone analyser
Description of instrument : For 1991-2004: Dasibi model 1003-PC, Serial number 3584

For 2005 onwards: Thermo Electron Corporation TEI-49i ozone analyser.

Calibration
Current scale employed in the measurement :
Measurement calibration : Multipoint calibration versus Transfer Standard traceable to US EPA NIST Standard Reference Photometer in October 2003.
Scale and calibration(treasability) :

Data Processing
Measurement unit : ppb
Data processing :
Processing for averaging : Processing for Hourly Data:
For 1991-2004: Data are submitted to WDCGG as hourly averages (of 6 10-minute values); with an error term , which is the standard deviation of the 10-minute values.

For 2005 onwards: Data are submitted to WDCGG as hourly averages (of 12 5-minute values); with an error term , which is the standard deviation of the 5-minute values.

Data flag : Data are flagged for baseline conditions (which are onshore winds, i.e. when speed > 5 m/s and wind between 150 and 210 degrees).
Sampling Conditions flag
=0: not specified
=1: not baseline
=2: baseline
