Observation
Category : Air sampling observation
Situation : ongoing
Time zone : Local time 5

Sampling
Sampling height : 6
Description : continuous
Sampling and analysis frequency : Continuous
Sampling environment :
Description for sampling analysis : Real time point analyzer. The sampling line is 1/4" teflon tube. Height of the line is 6 meters above the ground and 1.5m over the top of the measurement station. Air passes through a 5 micron dust filter before reaching the instrument. Data: 1-min intervals are averaged and used to create hourly means. These in turn form the basis for daily and monthly means.

Instrument and Analysis
Measurement method : Light absorption analysis (UV)
Current status and history of instrument : Thermo Environmental Instrument Inc.,
TEI 49C
Description of instrument :

Calibration
Current scale employed in the measurement :
Measurement calibration : Internal ozone generator.
Scale and calibration(treasability) : Autoranging 0-1000 ppb.
Precision 1 ppb.
Linearity +1% full scale.

Data Processing
Measurement unit : ppb
Data processing : The data acquisition system provides one minute mean raw data. Invalid data caused by local impact, malfunction or other effects were recognised by comparison/correlationwith other trace substances and meteorological data or with information from the station logbook and were rejected.
Processing for averaging : Processing for Hourly Data:
Arithmetic means are calculated from valid daily data if 20 daily data put of 30 days during the month are valid.
Processing for Daily Data:
Arithmetic means are calculated from valid hourly data if 16 hourly data put of 24 hours during the day are valid.
Processing for Monthly Data:
Arithmetic means of hour average concentrations (for example "12" means the average value from the measured concentrations from 12:00 to 12:59).
