2 L of air are trapped at -44 °C using an ADS system, as described by Simmonds et al. (Anal. Chem., 1995)

Current scale employed in the measurement : NPL-30 VOC component mixture in the range of ~4 ppb
Measurement calibration : manually every 4 weeks
Scale and calibration(treasability) : the system was audited in 2005 by the WCC-VOC
